Heavy materials, such as tile or bagged concrete mix, are often stored on the floor level of a rack system in a warehouse, distribution center or large retail outlet. Over time, these loads can be pushed back, making the retrieval of these items very difficult and leaving workers at risk to injury. Konstant Load Drawers are designed to support loads at the floor level of storage racks, allowing loads to be easily extended into the aisle when access to the material is necessary. The Drawers are totally self-contained, and require no rail or tracks in the aisle. Once the drawer is moved into the aisle and locked into position, loads can be picked or placed directly onto the drawer, Rather than forced picking from the rear of the loads located under the first beam of the rack system.

The Konstant Load Drawers are designed to fit a standard-sized pallet, and come in galvanized steel or baked enamel. A dual-wheel, flex axel system on each of the four corners ensures wheel contact with the floor at all times, even on irregular surfaces. A guide located on the underside of the base ensures exact in and out drawer positioning.

The Load Drawers feature two locking positions: one completely under the rack system and other when the drawer is extended into the aisle. The movement of the load drawers is easy, done by pulling the handle away from the drawer while twisting it 90 degrees. The twisting motion unlocks the drawer position, and then it can be pulled into the aisle until it stops. The drawer can then be relocked by twisting the handle into the locking position.
